Place of Visit – Singapore. Singapore was selected as a destination owing to its high
globalization index and diversity in culture .

1) Industrial Visits to :
- Singapore Gems and Metals Ltd – A Production Factory and Export House.
- NE Water Plant- A Recycling , Production , Process & Control Plant governed by Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Singaore.
- Marina Barrage – A Technological Marvel under PUB Singapore
exhibiting Singapore’s excellence in Environmental Sustainability
and Catchment Technologies.
2) Port Visits to :
- Port of Singapore Authority(PSA) and glimpses of
- Pasir Panjang Terminal , Finger Pier Terminal, Keppel
- Dstripark Terminal and Brani Terminal
3) City Tour of Singapore 4) Visit to Sentosa and Universal Studios. Learning Outcomes from the Tour :
The students had a learning on the following:
1)Understanding Globalization and Globalization Index
2)International Operations and Manufacturing Practices
3)Export Procedures and International Marketing Aspects
4)Production , Planning and Control Procedures.
5)Environmental Sustainability and Global Water Issues
6)International Logistics and Containerization.
7) Cross Cultural Management in Singapore.
Overall the tour was very successful and it was an excellent experience.
