Career Development Cell
CDC is a center developed by IILM GSM in line with its philosophy focusing holistic development of students. The Career Development and the Placement Cell at IILM GSM serves as an interface to establish the best student-organization fit.
- The students are profiles to understand their strengths and weakness and the kind of job and organization they are best suited to.
- Help student build in the competencies that are of value to the prospective employers, both in contemporary as well as future perspective.
- Helping the prospective employers articulate their human resources needs, and accordingly choose from these students.
Total Personality Development of the students by imparting the necessary Life skills and develop social and spiritual sensitization through;
- Student guidance and counseling services with six students being assigned to one faculty mentor for careful and personalized attention and training.
- Organize experience sharing sessions with alumni to increase awareness on the corporate life and employers expectations.
- Training the students on interview and presentation skills, developing effective resumes and other interpersonal and behavioral skills.
- Tasks assigned to bring about the importance of team work and the Self Managing Learning Teams

Activities of CDC in the year 2008-09:
- Training for PG-2 students on Interview skills and self presentation by Work Easy solutions, a training organization floated by IIM-A alumni.
- Total Personality Development sessions for the students of first and the second year to help them develop into well adjusted human beings.
- Leadership Series with great leaders from different walks of life, addressing students and helping benefitting students with their experiences and develop the qualities of a leader.
