Introduction
In 23 years of his professional career, he has taught, trained, researched and consulted with various private, public, non-governmental, and multinational corporations including WHO, DFID (United Kingdom), AusAID (Australia), and SDC (Switzerland). His professional pursuits have taken him to countries like Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal, Singapore, Thailand, UK, USA, and Vietnam. In addition, Dr. Rizvi is a visiting Professor of Organizational Behaviour to the MBA programs at the National Graduate School of Management (NGSM), Australian National University (ANU), Canberra (Australia); Shanghai University, (China); and International School of Management, Dakar, Senegal (West Africa) and other Universities. He is a regular contributor to various seminars and conferences as an invitee and has been invited by European Foundation for Management Development (efmd) to deliver lectures at their annual Dean and Director Generals Conference at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France; 2006 efmd MBA conference at Archamps, France, AACSB Conference at Bangkok, Thailand and others. He has also delivered invited seminar at the Annual Convention of AACSB USA at Singapore. Dr. Rizvi’s mission in life is to “play a facilitators’ role in the growth and development of individuals and their collective enterprise, the organizations.”
Qualification and Experience
Dr. Rizvi is a science graduate and postgraduate with specialization in Organizational Psychology. In addition, he has postgraduate qualification in Management from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi. He has received his Doctoral degree from University of Delhi.
Dr. Rizvi started his career with HCL Ltd. and subsequently on a scholarship from Government of India, completed his Ph.D. thesis on ‘Management / Leadership Styles in organizations’. He has also been a teaching and research faculty at the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi for several years, and has supervised many PhD thesis at various Indian Universities.

Dr. Rizvi has offered consulting and advising on various organizational and people development issues to a number of organizations some of which are AusAID, DFID, Hewitt Associates, Swiss Development Corporation, World Bank, World Health Organization etc. on various issues including leadership coaching, leadership development, competency assessment & development, change management, and performance management.
As a growth facilitator, Dr. Rizvi has offered training interventions in areas like self-development, communication skills, performance management, inter-personal skills, team work, leadership, stress management etc. to a number of organizations in India, some of whom include :

In all these organizations he has provided training interventions to business executives at all levels, Indian Police Services Officers (SPs, DIGs, IGs, etc in the IPS), Indian Administrative Services Officers (Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary etc. in the IAS), Indian Revenue Services Officers (IRS), Custom Officers, Judicial Magistrates and others.
He has been a member of various governmental and non-governmental organizations’ advisory and other committee, and member of Academic Councils of various educational trusts etc. He also is a regular speaker at various national and international forums both in the academia and the business corporations.
His training, academic and research interest gravitate around Leadership and its communication, individual and institutional competency building, professional education, and management of change.
Dr. Rizvi has been the Head of R&D (Leadership Initiative) and associate vice president with a well known corporate training organization where he designs, develops, trains, researches, mentors & coaches on leadership & management development issues (LMDP) and OD to various corporate entities.
