ANALYSTS

This is known as the finance club and excels in exercising knowledge and information. It invites individuals who are proficient and has good organizing capabilities. Analysts is never resting when it comes to sharing invaluable information which are of great use in the realm of industry. Information that are helpful to the students for staying with eyes and years open to the dynamic environment of management or regulations related to industry. Analysts works with 11 office bearers and Prof. Feroz Khan as the faculty coordinator.
It has organized number of beneficial events like Enigmatique, The Labyrinth, Career in Finance and Online Biz Quiz. Through the weekly article Finzone (Article that comes twice a week) and Fingloss (Terminology that comes twice a week) it provides loads of information and updates about the business world. Plans are not still over for Analysts as it has more ideas lined up. 

     

PRIZM

This name represents the marketing club which by words of many is among the most coveted and popular clubs of the institution. With its high visibility and innovative functioning prizm has been proudly engaged in promoting activities related to marketing. It allows participation that calls for innovative thinking and creativity that stands out.
Under the coordination of Prof. Ajeet Sharma, this club organizes many exciting events like Billboard War, AdMad, Claystation and Treasure Hunt. Even if one doesn’t participate in any of these it’s real fun to just stand and watch.
Prizm consists of individuals who are interested in making things more interesting than others. People working here believe in transparency and fair deals. It finds success in making things clear to everyone and doing things in a perfectly organized manner.
In one word, Prizm does an impeccable job of giving a little feel of being in the real life world of marketing.

 

XPRESSIONS

Where all the other clubs stand tall in their own ways, Xpressions flies in a different sky where academics are set apart. If you want your talent to be manifested in the cultural world, then Xpressions is the place to be in. Apart from entertainment, it supports any activity that is enjoyed by people. It also prefers activities directed towards novel causes. Xpressions is always known for fostering creativity and spontaneity.
This non academic club headed by Prof. Meghnaa Sharma has organized events like Children’s day, Cultural Strawberry, Face Painting, Retro dress and Mismatch.

ESPORTIVO

Esportivo holds its ground in the world of sports and health. Not to mention, it’s a real excitement for the sports enthusiasts.  Spark of fitness, skill and energy is in the air of this club.
It was introduced in 2007 and took no time to make its mark. Esportivo found its greatest success in Volleyball by winning the Inter College Tournament. It also stood as runner up in the inter college Table Tennis tournament.
Since inception, it has organized various events like Cricket Tournament (Boys and Girls), Tug of War, Table Tennis, Volleyball and Football.


ECO GREEN
Being one of the younger clubs Eco Green was introduced in January 2009. The launching event took place with tree plantation at the college campus. Eco Green basically puts its focus upon environmental awareness. The events organized by this club are also related to environmental concerns. Best of the Waste, Movie Magic and Eco Quiz are few of them.


ILUMINATI

It’s a new club in the college but it has really made a mark in the student fraternity. The faculty coordinator for this club is Mrs. Meghnaa Sharma. The club was introduced with the idea that it will help the college in celebrating various festivals. The basic area of working for this is related to the SOCIAL as well as the CULTURAL aspect in the college.

This club is remembered for organizing one of the best cultural event IGSM has ever seen, THE PERFORMANCE by HEX, a musical concert.

Of late, this club has also shown its colour by winning the IGPL 2010, a cricket tournament of various clubs.

ABOUT THE CLUB:

THE HR CLUB OF IILM GSM

THIS club is also known for its HR club.

It is one of the elite clubs which focuses students on realizing their performance through effective skill enhancing events.

It provides better communication skills, corporate outlook to its members the exposure necessary for providing ones potential and passion .

It provides special attention to students requiring advice for their future prospects and thus always try to concrete the requirement of HR in any organization.


ENCUESTA

OBJECTIVE

  • To increase general awareness

  • Churning students' mind to prepare them for challenging future

  • Exploring the skills of the students

  • To brush up and enhance the knowledge of students

  • Enhance their knowledge related to business, science, culture, environment etc.

NEED

According to the feedback provided by the placement office and alumni it has been found that the students are lacking in general awareness, Industrial and business awareness. These are mandatory for a good placement. So Encuesta aims to bridge this gap.


FEATURES

This club is not pure academic club but Acads with Fun. We focus on Knowledge without having heavy academic books.

We would intend to make the students understand the importance of reading newspaper and think beyond the text books.

Our long term goal is to make our IGSM competitive with other B-schools in Industrial knowledge, Business environment in world.

The ideology of this club will be to provide relevent knowledge and its business application to students.
