Gratuity
IILM faculty and staff members are entitled to gratuity as per the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1970 and rules framed there under and amended from time to time
Holidays
Faculty members and staff need time to attend to personal, family and societal obligations. We offer 10 paid staff holidays, summer and winter break days in each calendar year.
Leaves
Faculty member and staff are entitled to 15 days of earned leave, 12 days of casual leave in a calendar year
Leave Travel Assistance
LTA is given to all full-time staff after completion of 12 months of service. It is paid automatically in the 13th month along with the salary. The amount is equal to one month’s basic salary.
Loans
Loans to faculty & staff members are provided ( subject to approval) for house building -- major repairs/new purchase; daughter’ s or dependent sister’ s marriage; serious illness -- hospitalization for self, spouse, parents and unmarried children; natural calamities and on similar compassionate grounds; purchase of own vehicles (two-wheeler/four-wheeler) and for higher education of children.
Medical Reimbursement
Medical allowance which is a part of employee’s CTC is paid on monthly basis. The total amount provided annually is equal to one month’s basic salary.
Maternity Leave (ML)
This is applicable to all female staff who have completed one year of continuous service and have attended at least 80 days in office. ML may be granted to a female faculty / staff members for first two surviving children. A maximum period of three months of ML may be sanctioned all such employees with pay.
Provident Fund
IILM staff is eligible for the provident fund which is operative with the Commissioner of the Provident Fund, Govt of India, as per the Provident Fund policy of Govt of India. Presently it is 12% of the basic salary, deposited by both, the employer and the faculty & staff members in PF account given to the faculty & staff members by the PF Commissioner.
Sabbatical Leave
Faculty members are also entitled to a sabbatical year, after completion of six years, subject to the approval of Director.
Study Leave
A study leave/extended/deputation for a maximum period of two years is available (subject to approval). During the period of study leave the faculty / staff member’s position will be maintained when he returns after the leave period.
