Counselors

 

The objective of this position is to support the large student base at IILM and guide them though their stay at IILM and provide Career and Personal Advice to Students.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Act as a lead Advisor in providing Academic and Personal Counseling.
2. Advise students to enable them manage their interpersonal relationships, resolve conflict / stressful situations.
3. Provide direct support to individual students, small groups and classrooms.
4. Manage the Assesment Centre for students
5. Complete assessments (Psychological / Aptitude testing) with students and advise them accordingly.
6. Conduct Professional Development workshops.

Qualifications & Skills / Attributes Required:

1. Masters Degree in Psychology with a specialisation in Counseling will be preferred.
2. Prior experience of at least 3 to 5years in providing similar (Education / Personal Counseling) services is essential.
3. Prior experience of Psychological diagnostics/testing would be preferred.
4. Excellent written and verbal skills.
5. Very good listener as well as a charismatic leader.
