Placement Manager

 

The main purpose of this position is to promote the institute in the Corporate Sector on the domestic as well as international level in order to maximise student placements.


Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Establish IILM as a preferred 'brand' in the minds of Public & Private Sector, Professional Association of Managers, Government & Regulatory Bodies, Recruiters and the Mass Media. 
2. Networking with the Coporates across industry segments, building and developing linkeages to enhance placements prospects.
3. Maximise summer internships & Final Placements.
4. Maintain updated Placements database.
5. Manage the On-line Placements portal.
6. Facilitate Corporate Interaction, Industry Visits, Guest Lectures, Networking with professional bodies, participation in Seminar & Conferences.


Qualifications & Skills / Attributes Required:

1. MBA/PGDBM with Marketing / HR Specialisation.
2. Two to Four years experience in a similar position (Placements Position in an educational institute) would be desired.
3. Extensive exposure to marketing/brand building/liaisoning with the Corporate Sector.
4. Candidate should be well networked in multiple industry segments.
5. Excellent communication skills with a very pleasing personlity.
6. Established record of success in similar capacity is a must.
7. Should be comfortable with travel.
