Job Purpose Summary

Enhancement of the brand equity of the Institute. Leveraging on all channels of communication to enhance the visibility of the Institute amongst the corporate world, alumni and prospective students. Also to keep in constant touch with the corporate world and enhance interaction between the corporate world and IILM.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  1. Develop brand equity of the Institute by introducing innovative ideas in close association with Head of Placements.

  2. Increases Institute – Industry & media interface and helps in bringing the Institute among B school in India

  3. Managing events like Corporate Meet, Corporate Guest Lectures / workshops, panel discussion, National Seminars / conferences, Alumni Meet, etc

  4. Managing public relation works which include press releases of various events, placement reports, Institute’s profiles & TV coverage.

  5. Persuades Corporate to bring in Consultancy, Research Projects, MDPs.

  6. Network with professional associations like National HRD net work, ISTD, FICCI, AIMA, CII, PHDCCI.

  7. Assists in developing well designed strategies to achieve 100 % Summer Training and Final Placement of student

Job title : MANAGER PLACEMENTS

Based At : Greater Noida

Job Purpose Summary

To ensure that the students of IILM get the best possible Summer Internship and Final Placements on passing out their PGDBM/MBA Program from IILM.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities


  1. Maintain a data base of recruiting companies, their CEOs, Heads of Marketing, finance and HR

  2. Promote institute industry interaction through using practicing Managers as Visiting faculty, as invitees in special events, as judges and participants in seminars, conferences, quizzes etc.

  3. Assist students in making presentations to potential recruiters.

  4. Actively seek out summer internships for students.

  5. Network with alumni for assistance in summer placements and regular placements

  6. Network with professional Associations like National HRD network , ISTD etc.

  7. Build and update online and hard copy brochures on students awaiting placements

  8. Manage the annual placements season in collaboration with students and key academic staff

Position Responsibilities


  • Counsel students on the choice of their careers

  • Should be able to guide in depth on at least one of the areas: Marketing, Finance, Technology,

  • Consulting or General Management

  • Should be able to guide the student clubs, understanding aspirations, setting expectations and guiding out reach efforts

  • Candidate needs to interact with senior management in Industry and form and sustain deep relationships. They should be able to help the Business Development team to hunt and farm accounts.

  • Should be able to manage interview preparation and also help with resume preparation

Job title : Manager – Digital & Social Media

Based At : Greater Noida

Job Description:

Candidate must have demonstrated a record of performance-based success in social media and have a well-rounded digital background including creative execution, media buying and planning and basic HTML coding. A successful candidate will have quantitative / analytic rigor, creative problem solving, and execution skills. Position reports to the Director of Social Media.


Responsibilities include the following:

  • Create, implement and track audience development strategies across targeted social media community pages growing brand presence for IILM.

  • Responsible for developing conversational strategies and applications to drive community engagement on social pages as well as drive engagement back to other platforms (TV, web and mobile).

  • Monitor social media emerging trends and provide proactive recommendations.

  • Evaluate emerging marketing opportunities and technologies and derive actionable insights to expand programs and drive efficiency.


  • Research emerging trends in digital social advertising (display, contextual, text, video etc) including new methods of buying, targeting and tracking.

  • Work with database manager to mine consumer data points and insights from social media platforms via opt-in opportunities and open data sources.

  • Work with internal and external resources to develop creative that is consistent with company goals and branding.

  • Serve as a conduit between Digital, On-Air, PR and other key stakeholders regarding social.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Active participant in social media (100s of Facebook fans and Twitter followers, likes to blog, is the mayor of something on foursquare, etc). Extremely savvy and knowledgeable of social media trends and innovations

  • Expertise around developing and executing consumer acquisition and retention campaigns on social media platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive and execute marketing strategies that deliver measurable and consistent results.

  • Deep familiarity with social media, viral and word of mouth online marketing practices.

  • Ability to manage social applications effectively with an expert understanding of the technologies used by social media.

  • Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively in-house and with outsiders

  • Complete familiarity MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel

  • Results-oriented, motivated contributor who brings passion and an intrinsic drive to succeed

Educational and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a directly related field or equivalent experience and 5 years of online marketing experience with 2-3 years of social media marketing preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the execution of technology strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.

  • Build and manage a top-flight technology team and oversee research and development

  • Provide visible leadership for the Institute within the technology community.

  • Anticipate and react to major technology changes to ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive landscape.

  • Establish technical standards and ensure adherence to them for product development and Institute's operations.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive IT experience, typically within a development environment, but also within IT Infrastructure.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • At least 15 years in engineering, with 7 in an executive-level position.

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required, MBA preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technology and market trends as a foundation for technology and product roadmaps.
