Learning Infrastructure

The IILM GSM is technology driven, which among other thing focuses on the use of IT in support of course delivery, to enhance the learning experience of the students and to engage them in dynamic and shared learning activities beyond the limits of the physical class room. A robust IT infrastructure and high speed connectivity has been put in place, designed to connect class rooms, hostels, public places within the campus with each other and to the rest of the world. At IILM GSM, we also have the concept of what could be designated as “paper less office” system to ensure efficiency and transparency in management and administration. The landscape plan of the campus adds great deal of aesthetic value to the campus.

The campus has a fully equipped library with the latest computerized multimedia library facilities:

• Latest and up-to-date reading, research and reference material in print, electronic and audio-visual formats
• To develop the competence required to face international competition
• Large, spacious reading and research rooms provide an environment for study and research work.
• To develop sensitization to the society, the people, the country and the environment
• As per IILM Graduate School of Management tradition, the library has a wide array of books on social issues,
     autobiographies, encyclopedia and historical readings, in addition to the books and reading in management field

The campus has state-of-the-art computer centers for browsing the internet and for IT- related classes. It is a Wi-Fi enabled educational campus, enabling the students’ access to high speed internet round-the-clock. IILM Graduate School of Management also has a sophisticated web-based intranet system that offers continuous interaction between the faculty and students, online testing and submissions, discussion boards and courseware exchanges.

• International standard lecture theatres are fully air-conditioned and are equipped with modern audio-visual systems.
• Aesthetically designed semi-circular classrooms are spacious, airy, well lit and echo- proof to facilitate the teaching-    learning process. Special emphasis has been laid on acoustics
• Classrooms are designed for conventional lectures and group discussions
• Stepped Lecture theatres with the capacity to seat 70 students. Tutorial room used for discussions have seating capacity of 30 students.

A modern state-of-the-art auditorium designed to seat for more than 200 people. Equipped with the latest audio-visual equipments in a centrally air-conditioned environment, the venue is used for hosting intra and inters college events like seminars, conferences, debates, and cultural activities. The facilities are apt for holding national and international level conferences as well.

All management programmes have a lot of learning accruing from student’s self directed team work. The campus would provide for separate syndicate rooms with computing facilities for student discussions and group tasks.

The campus has ample space for out door and indoor sports. Provisions are being made for out-door and in-door sports. IILM Graduate School of Management students have won many inter college sports competitions in the past.

PGDRM students are provided accommodation in the campus as well as off the campus. Girl students are being provided accommodation in the campus hostel. Each room set has a living room, study room and an attached bath room, amply spacious to accommodate three girls. Accommodation is allotted on First Come First Serve basis. The hostel provides facilities like vegetarian meal four times a day including evening tea with snacks, lodging facilities including desert coolers, Wi-Fi, CFLs, RO water, visit by lady doctor, tuck shop, common TV room, indoor games etc. Safety of the hostel is in the hands of Ex NSG Commandos, Ladies Security Guards and gunmen. Strict hostel timings are rigidly followed.

For PGDRM male students, hostel has been outsourced in a very spacious and comfort friendly environment.
