Alumni Support
IILM GSM maintains a close relationship with its alumni and ensures their active participation in the functioning of their Alma matter. At present we have alumni strength of around 1700. The Alumni Association helps in the career growth of students through active participation. The Alumni Association consists of elected body of members from among the Alumni, a faculty coordinator and student representatives from the current batch. The Alumni Association organizes diverse events round the year including seminars and workshops, and training programmes to keep abreast of current happenings in the business world. It also organizes cultural nights with eminent artists and provides a forum to the alumni to express opinion through the medium of art. The institute organizes annual Alumni Meet on third Sunday of December every year, apart from monthly meetings. The Alumni Association has been able to come up with alumni network for ‘mentorship programme’ enabling our current students to know their seniors and learn from their wisdom and experiences.

Our aim is to inform, stimulate and inspire our Alumni:-
* To get involved in networking activities
* To re-establish old and form new friendships
* To attend lectures and seminars
* To share with us your career development, achievements and useful experiences.
Activities planned for the Alumni to promote interaction amongst alumni members and between alumni and the institute.
* Alumni guest lecture Series:- IILM Graduate School of management is focusing on regularly organizing guest lectures of alumni working in respective fields in order to provide know how of the field to present students.
* Seminars & Workshops :- Seminars will be organized for the Alumni where they will have an opportunity.
* Cultural Activities
* IGSM mentor-mentee Programme :- Mentorship programme will provide a platform for students interested in specific career related issues to be directly connected to certain alumni.
* Information and Advice on Careers :- Alumni have firsthand information and knowledge that can be very helpful to College students who are interested in pursuing a career in a similar activity sector.
* News Bulletin :- Quarterly newsletter / new bulletin will be circulated to the Alumni. The Newsletter consists of Information about the new initiative taken by the IGSM and about the Career Management Center. Industry Specific Article from the Alumni & Skill-sets required for the industry which will help the current students to prepare them for the final placement. The publication will include a Nostalgia Column along with updates on Alumni achievements etc.
* Chapter activities :- Alumni chapters may be set up in different towns where we have substantial number of IILM graduates; and responsible alumni members may be encouraged to organize alumni activities where someone from IILM can go and exchange ideas in the direction of furthering the placement prospects of IILM students.
* Batch Wise Reunion :- Batch-wise reunions can be organized batch wise for better bonding with the Institute.
* Annual Alumni Meet :- A regular alumni meet is organized in month of December to assist a fruitful interaction.
