Dr. Meena Bhatia

Introduction

Dr Meena Bhatia has fifteen years of teaching and adminstatrion experience at various management institutes in Delhi. She has offered courses in the area of accounting & finance namely, Financial accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management, Strategic Accounting & Management Control, Capital Market Investment & Finance & Stock market.

She also worked with a merchant banker as Assistant Manager (Corporate Finance).

Her research interests include financial services, stock exchanges and brokerage houses.

She has also handled training programme in the area of accounting and finance.

In her last asignment with IILM she was the Dean of UK based programme. Her role was to ensure effective academic delivery, handling faculty development and making student experience memorable. She handled examination boards & assessment committee meetings at University of Bradford UK. Have handled internal quality projects and QAA (UK) quality audits. She also taught at University of Bradford UK

Qualification and Experience

• PhD in Finance
• MBA finance from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)
• CFA from Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI Hyderabad). Scholarship Holder
• CWA from Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India (ICWAI). Merit Holder. She is an Associate member of ICWAI
• B.Com (Hons.) From Delhi University

Some Selected Works

• Presented a paper titled "Review of Indian Stock Exchanges", at the International conference in FINANCE, ACCOUNTING AND GLOBAL INVESTMENTS scheduled on August 22 – 24, 2008 at IMI, New Delhi, India.
• Taken sessions in Management Development Programme conducted in IILM (24th -26th August 06) on ‘Financial Analysis on Management Decisions’
• Published a paper titled "Indian Brokerage Industry: Shift in Paradigm" in IIPM Finance Journal NEED THE DOUGH, March 2006, Volume I Issue I.
• Presented a paper titled "Changing practices of Indian Brokerage Industry", at the Fourth Annual AIB International Conference on ‘Globalization & Sectoral Development’ held on 17 - 19 February 2006 at IILM, New Delhi.
• Published a paper titled "Financial Services: Challenges Ahead (Shift in Paradigm)" in the book titled Changing Strategies of Winning Organizations, PIMR Publication.
