Course Structure


The course structure of PGDRM (2008-10) comprises of 6 terms. Total number of courses offered in two years (2008-10) carries 121.5 credits including the summer training of 6 credits and a comprehensive project carrying 9 credit.

In addition institute offers many mandatory value added courses which are mandatory for students.


Students in their preferred area of interest undertake summer internship during the summer break. The objective of summer training is to help students in relating the concepts learned in class with real-life situations, to make them aware of business practices and instill a sense of discipline in them, which is essential for success in the corporate world.


Every student has to undertake a comprehensive project in his preferred area of interest. This project is equivalent to 9 credits that is three full papers. A panel of faculty and industry generally evaluate each student for the same.


Students are also offered short modules in Luxury Retailing, Life Style Retailing, SPSS, Food & Grocery Retailing or Six Sigma depending upon the industry need.
