Name: M.Sadiqur Rahman
Designation:Assistant Professor of Business English, Communications and Employability Skills.
Introduction
A Fulbright Scholar of repute, Mr. Rahman is a young and dynamic academician in the field of Employability Skills and Managerial Communications. In his academic career spanning over more than five and a half years , he has taught Communications, Literature and Language in one of the most reputed Universities in USA and some of the top B-Schools in India .He is also an NEN(National Entrepreneurship Network) approved Instructor for Entrepreneurship. Mr.Rahman is a published poet with two books of poems to his credit. As a film maker ,Mr.Rahman has made three short films which were screened in several International Film festivals. He has worked as a Radio Jockey both in India as well as in USA. Mr.Rahman is deeply committed to social work and is an active part of a number of NGOs. He has been a member of the National Selection Committee for Fulbright India.

Awards and Scholarships
- Mr.Rahman was honoured with the prestigious Fulbright Fellowship in 2007
- He was also awarded a Gold Medal as the topper of Humanities Faculty, Department of English and Modern European Languages at Jamia Millia Islamia in the year 2008.
- Mr.Rahman is also the winner of Jamia Merit Scholarship 2006
Academic Credentials:
- Mr. Rahman earned his Master of Arts degree in English (Special Papers- Post Colonial Literature and English Language Teaching) from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi in the year 2007.
- He graduated from Calcutta University with Bachelor of Arts degree in English( Honors) in the year 2005.
- As a student of Graduate Audit Courses in the University of Texas at Austin between 2007-2008 Mr.Rahman studied Afro –American Literature and Culture ;South Asia and its Novel ;Film and Television Production and Creative Writing Workshop.

- Participated in NEN Course on Advanced Topics in Entrepreneurship : From Prototype to Market – Commercializing your idea from July 8- 11,2010 Was selected as a resource person for the Foundation Course of the MBA batch 2010-2012 of Jamia Hamdard .Taught them Soft skills, Business Communications and Personality Development to students over a period of one week between 1 July 2010 to 7 July 2010 ,with special focus on Reading ,Writing, Speaking and Listening

- His short film "Animan" was screened at the Kinetoscopic Wonderment Film Festival, Austin, Tx in the Best Foreign Film Category in the year 2008, March.
- His Radio show "Nostalgic with Sadiq" was aired on KVRX 91.7 FM in Austin, TX. This celebrity talk show ran for a whole season in the year 2008.It has won various nominations for the best Radio show in various Radio Award functions.
- The Dream seller ,his book of poems ,was inaugurated by the then Governor of Bengal, Mr. Viren .J. Shah. The Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mr.Budhdhadev Bhattacharya invited him ,to honor the publication .
