Esportivo Club- “The Sports & Health Club” , is one of the most happening club of IILM GSM. Since its establishment, it had always been an active club of the college and has engaged the students in the sports and extracurricular activities. During the year 2011, with the incoming of new office Bearer the club brought in the first sports activity: the much awaited event ---IGPL- 2, the cricketing extravaganza held on 16- 20th October, 2011. The event had 12 participating teams representing the 12 clubs of IILMGSM. After lots of cricketing action and matches being played in, Team PRIZM emerged as the winning team for the event while Team ILUMINATI was the runners-up for the event. This event had not been successful without the efforts of the club office bearers as well as volunteers who supported us throughout the event. The club also organised an event-SPORTS FIESTA on 30th Nov, 2011.It included events like football and badminton. Lots of action took place on the day and the winners emerged on the top with PGDM Section -B (2011-13) wining the football event and badminton event being won by Satvinder Singh and Rimi Ghosh of Section –A (PGDM 2011-13).. So, we believe that the club would be always in engaging the students in the sports activities so that they can enjoy the sports while gaining knowledge to be the mangers in the corporate world...

ILUMINATI-The Socio Cultural Club 1.Blood Donation Camp:
On the 17th of November,2011 the Iluminatians got together to step forward for a noble cause.The club,in co-ordination with the Red Cross Society,organised a blood donation camp,which saw huge participation from the IGSMites,and also from colleges from the neighbourhood.Everyone showed active support in this event,and like the last year,this year also it became a huge successful event in the history of IGSM.
2.Christmas Celebration:
With Christmas bells ringing,the Iluminatians came up with the X-Mas celebrations,to give a home like feeling to all the students who are staying far from home.All the students came together to celebrate and rejoice with “Santa”,and even the faculty members were actively involved in the celebration.People got gifts,sweets,santa caps,and other beautiful things from our very own “Santa Claus”.There was music,bon-fire,fun and frolic. Hence students got an opportunity to take a break from studies and enjoy the festive season.
3.Lohri Celebrations:
To celebrate the festival of Lohri,the ILUMINATI club arranged for a traditional “pugga” to which people offered Prasad ( Mungfali,revdi).There was Dhol ,which tempted the people around to tap their feet to its beats.In all the celebrations ended with a happy note and smiling faces. INSOLITO by SZIA- The I.B Club The 1st event by the junior office bearers of Szia-The IB Club in 2011 was "INSOLITO" ,held on 21st Dec 2011, 2pm onwards in Section B. We invited 15 teams of 4 members each from PGDM general, IB, FS batch 2011-13.
We got nominations at heavy numbers from all sectors, out of which we selected the 1st 15 teams, but on the day of the event, due to last moment back outs and additions, the event was conducted with 11 teams.
More than 20 students participated from PGDM and the rest were from IB and FS; groups were a mix of all sectorals.
EVENT DETAILS:
The event consisted of 3 rounds. Round 1: Crazy Frog- It was a 3-legged musical chair that took place on the field with 2 members of each team.
Jumboree- It was a list of corporate-related jumble-words played by the remaining 2 members of each team,simultaeneously in one of the classrooms.
Total of these 2 sub rounds were taken together.
Out of the 11 groups, top 8 groups went to Round 2.
Round 2: Corporate Captor- It was a visual quiz on CEOs,Logos,Slogans of companies,Currencies,etc,
4 teams from here were taken forth to Round 3..
Round 3: Biz-e-Bee- In this round,an Indian product was given to each of the 4 teams qualified from round 2,and they formulated the marketing strategy and 3 USPs of the product to launch it in the international market. This round was judged by Prof. Sachin Sinha on request.
Out of these 4 teams,3 teams were selected winners for 1st,2nd and 3rd position and given spot certificates and gift coupons by sir.

ESFUERZO- an event organized by Vikasana –The HR Club
This event was organized by the office bearers Kushal Shroff, Nitesh Kumar, Sumit kumar Shee and Aparna Singh of the HR club-Vikasana on 14th of November, 2011 in which 10 Groups participated, each group comprising of 4 members. There were 3 rounds in total.
First round was named as “How sharp are you?” The objective of this round was to encourage participants to read carefully, and to search for "hidden wrinkles" that distinguish simplistic answers; to simulate participants to be alert to tiny details and assumptions that hold the key to success. In this round a total of 11 simple yet tricky questions were asked within a given time limit and the best 6 groups were taken for the next round. Second round was named as “Know your Customer”. The objective of this round was to stimulate participants to use their brains; to serve as an ice-breaker exercise or warm-up; to accent the 'wealth' that exists in customers if participants will just look for it. In this round all the six groups were required to find as many new words from the word Customer within a certain time limit and the best 3 groups were taken for the final round. The final round was the case study round wherein the participants had to apply their HR skills to solve the case of Performance Appraisal in Supreme electrical. In this round the groups had to solve the case as well as come up with a short presentation of the case with their recommendations.
The winner of this event was group 8 comprising Amit Yadav, Devendra Kashyap, Avijit Srivastava , Pulkit Sinsinwar and the 1st runner up was group 10 comprising Rohit Shukla, Tushar Sardana, Swagata Roy Chowdhury, Saurabh Kanojia.
Xpressions – The fun & frolic carried on throughout the day, students dressed up in the most wackiest way possible, with socks on their hands and pipes around their necks,with ties on their waste n shirts worn inside out . the new batch came up with the funkiest ideas and the top three most insanely dressed students were given prizes. We hope to continue this tradition and insanity in the years to come.
the cultural club acts as a platform for the IGSMites to break free from the stressful curriculum and enjoy the hues of life with full vigor. So by sticking to the words , xpressions organized an event called “ MISMATCH DAY” in July 2011 its purpose was to break the ice and welcome the new batch in a vivacious way.
